one week in Tulum — a lifetime of memories
plan your family staythe trip you’ve been promising them
Tulum has a way of making everything slow down — in the best possible way. Your kids discover the jungle. You finally exhale. And somewhere between the cenotes and the candlelit dinners, your family remembers how good it feels to just be together.
One week is all it takes. Our concierge handles every detail — so all you have to do is show up.

The best tables, the right excursions — all sorted
for the whole family
Swim through ancient underground rivers lit by natural light. There is nowhere else on earth quite like this — and your kids will know it the moment they jump in.
Paddle the Caribbean in small groups. Sea turtles surface beside you, coral reefs shimmer below, and every bend reveals a more beautiful stretch of coast.
Float through the jungle canopy on an inner tube. The kids will talk about this one for years. Guaranteed.
Farm-fresh Mexican cuisine, warm Tulum nights, nowhere else to be. The best family conversations happen here — when everyone is fed, happy, and far from home.

Arrival Day
Welcome & Settle In
Check in, explore the property, meet the resident dogs. Your first dinner by the sea sets the tone for everything that follows.
Day Two
Morning Yoga → Gran Cenote
Sunrise yoga on the beach, then off to the Gran Cenote before the crowds arrive. Crystal water, ancient limestone, and genuine wonder for everyone in the group.
Day Three
Tulum Ruins & Town
Walk the clifftop Mayan ruins overlooking the Caribbean, then wander Tulum’s artisan market. Dinner at a local favourite — our concierge books the table.
Day Four
Spanish Class → Cooking Class
Morning Spanish with our local instructor — fun, hands-on, and genuinely useful. Afternoon Mexican cooking class where the whole family makes tortillas, salsas, and traditional dishes from scratch.
Day Five
Mayan Clay & Free Beach Day
Mineral-rich Mayan clay treatment for everyone — kids love getting muddy. The rest of the day is yours: hammocks, paddleboarding, snorkelling, or nothing at all. Farewell dinner on the sand.
Departure
Final Breakfast & Checkout
One last breakfast by the ocean. One more swim. You’ll be planning the return trip before the taxi arrives.
what your family week looks like
Every stay is customised around your family — but here’s a taste of the magic.
Day
01
Check in, explore the property, meet the resident dogs, and have your first dinner under the stars. Tonight is about exhaling. The week has begun.
Day
02
An early start for the cenotes before the crowds arrive. Ancient underground rivers, crystal water, natural light filtering through the jungle ceiling. Afternoon free for the pool and beach — let the day unfold at its own pace.
Day
03
Morning kayak along the Caribbean coast. Sea turtle sightings almost guaranteed. Lunch beachside, afternoon spa time for the grown-ups while the kids explore the shoreline.
Day
04
The one they’ll never stop talking about. Float through the jungle canopy on inner tubes. Afternoon at leisure — hammocks, books, the beach, or absolutely nothing at all.
Day
05
Explore the Tulum ruins overlooking the Caribbean Sea, wander the town, shop for keepsakes. Dinner out at one of Tulum’s iconic restaurants — our concierge will book the best table for your group.
Day
06
A second cenote, a cooking class, a sunrise yoga session, or simply a slow beach day. This one is yours to design. Whatever your family didn’t get enough of — more of that.
Day
07
A last breakfast by the ocean. One more swim. The kind of goodbye that makes you start planning the return trip before you’ve even left.
this isn’t a booking engine
Tell us who’s coming, how old your kids are, and when you want to arrive. Our concierge will build your week from there — activities, excursions, restaurant reservations, airport transfers, and all the little moments in between.
Want to make it a bigger Mexico adventure? We can help you plan everything around your Amansala stay — Chichén Itzá, Bacalar, Mexico City — we know this country and we love sharing it.
No forms. No waiting. Just WhatsApp.
tulum has a way of getting into your soul
meet the crew
Amansala’s resident dogs are everyone’s favourite part of the stay — especially the little ones.
turtle season
Summer is sea turtle hatching season on the Tulum coast. Watching a nest hatch and the turtles make their way to the sea is a once-in-a-lifetime moment your family will never forget.
before you reach out
Honestly, any age — but the magic really hits between about 5 and 15. Kids this age are old enough to remember the cenotes, brave enough to try the kayaks, and young enough to think everything is the coolest thing they've ever seen. We've also hosted families with toddlers and teenagers, and both tend to leave very happy.
Tulum is a well-traveled, family-friendly destination with a strong expat and tourism community. Amansala sits directly on the beach in a quiet, private stretch of the Hotel Zone — calm, gated, and a long way from any noise. Families from all over the world have been coming here for over twenty years, and that continuity says everything.
Your room rate covers accommodation, breakfast every morning, and full access to the beach, hammocks, yoga shala, and all on-property amenities. Excursions, airport transfers, and lunches and dinners are à la carte — our concierge will walk you through everything when we plan your week together.
We handle all of it. Just tell our concierge who's coming, how old your kids are, and when you want to arrive — and we'll build a week around your family. What they love, what they're ready for, how much structure you want versus time to just be. Nothing is mandatory. Everything is possible.
Cancún International Airport is about 2 hours from Amansala by car — we arrange private airport transfers directly, so all you need to do is send us your flight details. If you're flying in domestically, Tulum's own airport (TAH) is just 30 minutes away.
Very much so. Our kitchen focuses on fresh, clean Mexican food — grilled fish, handmade tortillas, fruit platters, guacamole made to order — with vegetarian and simpler options always available. If your kids have allergies or specific needs, just let us know ahead of time and we'll take care of it.
Light and casual. Swimsuits, cover-ups, reef-safe sunscreen (required in the cenotes), comfortable sandals, and a light layer for evenings. Leave anything formal at home — this is a barefoot-on-the-sand kind of week. We'll have towels, beach chairs, and everything else waiting for you.
Absolutely — and many families do. Our concierge can help you plan a broader Mexico trip around your Amansala stay. Chichén Itzá, Bacalar, Mérida, Mexico City — we know this country well and love helping families see more of it. Just tell us what you're curious about.
